Introducing GameDevHub Mascot

หลายคนน่าจะเคยเห็นผ่านตากันมาบ้างแล้วสำหรับตัวละครสัญลักษณ์(มาสคอต) ของเกมเดฟฮับ ว่ามีลักษณะเป็นเหมือนนักผจญภัยใส่หน้ากากและถือธงซึ่งมีตราของฮับประดับอยู่

เห็นครั้งแรก คนอาจจะนึกถึงตัวละครจากซีรีย์ Squid Game หรือ วิดีโอเกมอย่าง Assassin’s Creed พร้อมท่าทางของน้องที่เหมือนนักผจญภัยที่สะพายสัมภาระอยู่ด้านหลัง เตรียมออกเดินทางไปยังจุดหมายที่เขาหรือเธอตั้งใจ

ตัวละครตัวนี้ออกแบบโดยคุณ ศิฬศักดิ์ กองศิริ และใช้ชื่อว่า Pathfinder

สำหรับทีมงานเกมเดฟฮับนั้น ตัวละครนี้มีความหมายลึกซึ้งและตรงใจของพวกเรามาก เพราะนับตั้งแต่จุดกำเนิดของเกมเดฟฮับ ตั้งแต่วันเริ่มโปรเจค จนถึงปัจจุบันนี้ เส้นทางของเราคือการผจญภัย ลุยฝ่าฟันไปในที่ ๆ ยังไม่มีใครเคยไป และทำในสิ่งที่ไม่มีใครเคยทำ เพื่อภารกิจในการทำให้อุตสาหกรรมเกมและบุคลากรในวงการ มีอนาคตที่ดีขึ้น

จิตวิญญาณของการเป็นผู้บุกเบิก ผู้นำทาง ตรงกับเจตนารมภ์ของเกมเดฟฮับ จึงทำให้น้องได้รับตำแหน่งชนะเลิศในการประกวดมาสคอตในครั้งนี้

แต่…ก็ไม่แน่เหมือนกันว่า ในการผจญภัยอันยาวนานและห่างไกล น้องอาจจะได้เจอเพื่อร่วมตี้ในอนาคตก็ได้นะ…

Many of you have probably seen this character—the mascot of GameDevHub—at some point. It resembles an adventurer wearing a mask and holding a flag adorned with the GameDevHub emblem.

At first glance, some might think of characters from the Squid Game series or video games like Assassin’s Creed, especially with the character’s posture—like an explorer carrying a pack on their back, ready to set off on a journey toward a goal they’ve set.

This character was designed by Sirisak Kongsiri and is named Pathfinder.

For the GameDevHub team, this character holds deep and meaningful significance. Since the inception of GameDevHub—from the very first day of the project to the present—our path has been one of adventure, forging ahead into uncharted territory, doing what has never been done, all in pursuit of a mission: to improve the future of the game industry and those working within it.

The spirit of being a pioneer, a guide, aligns perfectly with GameDevHub’s core values. That’s why Pathfinder was chosen as the winner in our mascot design contest.

But… who knows? On this long and distant journey, Pathfinder might just meet some new party members in the future…
